Future plans

These are ideas for later. Sharing bonus points, and a shorter draw list, are available now. The rest of this page is not.

Reminders

Messages, by email or text, when something needs attention: an application deadline coming up, a license expiring, bonus points changing, or a draw that succeeded.

Ownership review

A way to ask the site administrator to look at an AZGFD account that CopperDraw says is already in use, and a way for the administrator to be told about it. The account form already shows that message. There is no request page, and no message is sent. Contact the site administrator directly.

Signing in

Other ways to sign in to CopperDraw, besides the email and password on the login page. The Arizona Game and Fish password stays separate.

Application helper

Help preparing a hunt application, including filling it out and later sending it, so the same choices do not have to be entered by hand.

Hunt listings

A list of hunts you can search and sort, in place of paging through the regulation booklets. You could find a hunt, save the ones you care about, and use that list when you choose what goes on an application.

Draw odds

A way to see the odds for a hunt, based on previous years, alongside the hunt listings.

Sharing

Share the latest bonus points for one AZGFD account, or all of yours, with someone who already has a CopperDraw login. Open Share on the account list and look them up by username or email. They see the account under Shared accounts and on the Dashboard, and they turn on Include shared accounts on Bonus Points to show the points. You can also share draw applications. They open those from Applications. The list shows the year, season, species, whether the draw is pending, drawn, or not drawn, the hunt, and the tag number. It leaves out the hunt party, PointGuard, and bonus points on the draw. A drawn tag shows only the choice that was drawn.

Hunt journal

A place to record a hunt: the story, photographs, GPS waypoints, and other notes, with the option to share it with friends and family.

A hosted service

CopperDraw starts as a tool for personal and family use. It may later be offered online, with an account for each person, sharing between people, and both a free option and a paid option.
