What is CopperDraw?

CopperDraw is an Arizona-focused hunting draw management platform designed to simplify and centralize the process of managing Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) accounts, bonus points, licenses, and draw applications. Instead of repeatedly logging into separate accounts and manually re-entering the same information, users can view and manage their hunting information in one unified interface. The goal is to make it easy to compare bonus points, review application history and draw results, track licenses and application statuses, and manage multiple hunters within a family or hunting group.

Beyond account management, CopperDraw aims to make Arizona's draw system easier to understand and navigate. Planned features include a searchable catalog of hunts, seasons, dates, draw odds, and other hunt details, providing a more accessible alternative to the official draw-information PDFs. The platform will also support sharing hunting information among family members and friends, helping groups coordinate their applications and keep track of everyone's points and draw results. Future development may include guided application preparation and automated form completion or submission, along with a hunt journal for recording experiences, photographs, GPS waypoints, and other field notes.

CopperDraw is being developed with a deliberate focus on Arizona rather than attempting to cover every state's hunting regulations and draw systems. The long-term vision is to build a comprehensive, accurate, and dependable resource for Arizona hunters, combining account management, draw research, application assistance, and hunting records in one platform. Initially developed for personal and family use, the project may eventually expand into a hosted service with individual accounts, collaborative sharing, and free and premium subscription options. Any application automation will require careful attention to reliability, account security, sensitive personal information, and compatibility with AZGFD systems.
